Ilaji Soccer Academy

Ilaji Soccer Academy was established shortly after Ona-Ara Sports Festival, an all secondary school competition organized and sponsored by our Chairman (CEO) Chief Engr. Dotun Sanusi. The pioneer footballers of the academy were talented players drawn from different schools that participated in the competition. These footballers have since grown up to become some of the finest young footballers around. Some of them have become the mainstay of Ilaji FC while others have been traveling to Europe and making great strides internationally.

Many people often wonder what prompted an organization to build two world class stadiums (Ilaji Resort’s Stadium and Ilaji Int’l Mini Football stadium) a few meters apart. The answer is very simple, constructing these two football arenas is part of our unflinching commitment towards ensuring the fulfillment of the sporting aspect of our vision statement- to serve as a viable platform to the discovery and nurturing of sporting talents to stardom. While Ilaji Resort’s Stadium is the home ground for Ilaji FC and practice base for Ilaji Soccer Academy and Malaga CF Academy, Ilaji International Minifootball Stadium, is the only standard mini football stadium in West Africa as at today. The stadium is the testament of our ability to host the rest of Africa.
